Kenneth Sim, M.D., F.A.C.S
Dr. Kenneth Sim is the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Astrana Health (formerly ApolloMed). He has served as Chairman of Astrana Health Management (formerly Network Medical Management) since 2013. Dr. Sim also serves as Chairman of the Board of Allied Pacific IPA of California (APC).
A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Sim was honored with the Independent Physician Leadership Award in 2014 by the Los Angeles County Medical Association for his outstanding leadership in healthcare.
He currently serves on the Governing Boards of Alhambra Hospital Medical Center, Garfield Medical Center, and AHMC Seton Medical Center.
Dedicated to improving patient access and care coordination, Dr. Sim led the development of Super Medical Centers across Southern California—integrated facilities offering surgical, laboratory, radiology, and urgent care services in one location.
Dr. Sim earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, received his medical training at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine and the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Mexico, and completed his General Surgery residency at Los Angeles County King Drew Medical Center.
