Dr. Thomas Lam is the Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of Astrana Health (formerly known as ApolloMed). He has been a member of the company’s Board of Directors since 2016 and has served as Chief Executive Officer of Astrana Health Management (formerly Network Medical Management) since 2006. Dr. Lam has also served on Astrana Health Management’s Board of Directors since 2005.
From 2006 to 2014, Dr. Lam was Chairman and CEO of Allied Pacific IPA of California (APC) and has served as its Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer since 2014.
Dr. Lam has been recognized for his leadership and community service, receiving the Corporate Citizen of the Year Award from the East Los Angeles College Foundation in 2014 and the Heart of the Community Award from the YMCA of West San Gabriel Valley in 2015.
He received his medical training from New York Medical College and completed his gastroenterology training at Georgetown University.
